About Richard J. Boyse CPA

In 1980, Rick Boyse asked his father-in-law for a small loan in order to purchase a tax and accounting practice. The beginnings were humble but the small book of business grew steadily and consistently. From the very beginning, we have emphasized building client relationships and developing trust.

In 2009, Pete Boyse left his job to join his father. The two agreed on a 12 month trial period. At the end of which, they would evaluate whether they wanted to continue to work together. The trial period was unnecessary as Pete soon found out that working here was a perfect fit for him. Luckily for him, Rick’s feelings were mutual. Between the two of them, they are able to provide decades of experience combined with a renewed passion for the profession.

We have always been located in or around Rochester, Michigan and have recently branched out and opened a second office in Royal Oak, Michigan. We serve individual and business clients across the country with a wide range of incomes and industries. We have found the common thread between our clients is this: They realize the importance of having a trusted adviser at the ready.
